Dorm Info
Dorms are available starting Wednesday night and through Saturday night for those wanting to drive home Sunday.
You will select single, even though you may have a roommate. All the single rooms contain 2 beds. Cost is $84 per night. All room payments will be handled through the CWU website.
If you have a roommate, simply put their name in the "roommate name" window. You will be responsible for collecting your roommate's share of the fee. Rooms are available the night before the conference and the night after, for those who have longer distances to travel or want to stick around and enjoy Ellensburg.
NOTE: The dorms do not have their own private bathrooms. Bathrooms with showers are down the hall. Bring your own towel, soap, shampoo etc. College will provide bed linens.
Roommate Connection
If you are interested in finding a roommate, send your info to pnw.ptg@gmail.com, and we'll get you connected with someone.

Alford-Montgomery Hall (often called Al-Monty) in the Student Village North area of Central is named for two former Central students who both loved music and lost their lives in the service of their country during World War II. Read more to find out about these CWU students!
Al-Monty hall is a two minute walk to the music building. Feel young again with this fun and affordable option! Each room comes with a desk and single bed for each occupant. All have a mini-fridge and microwave.
This is an older dorm building that is not currently used by the regular student body but is reserved for conferences and campus visitors. Piano technicians will be the only residents during the seminar so we have the whole building to ourselves!
Here's a tour of Al-Monty Hall. The rooms are every basic, but I found the beds to be plenty comfortable. The student lounge has a foosball table and big screen TV, and there is another room with a pool table. A large study room contains an upright piano that we can utilize.
This dorm is not used by students - we will have it all to ourselves, so it will be a fun way to build camaraderie and community!
